Heavy Music Awards return for 2021

The fifth annual Heavy Music Awards will be taking place this year as a full, in-person event at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday 2nd September 2021. The event sees the return of a live crowd to the event as normality begins to slowly but surely creep back into our lives and the live events industry and the music industry begin on the road to recovery. In addition to the returning live show, this years event will be streamed worldwide on Twitch. Last year, HMA20’s live stream hit 177,000 live viewers.

HMA finalists will be announced alongside the opening of public voting at 2 pm BST on Wednesday 16th June. By taking part in the voting, you’ll be entered into the ballot to win tickets to the event itself so it's well worth getting involved.

As with all HMA's the shortlists are comprised of nominations from the music industry's panel of almost 700 members and the winners are chosen entirely by the public.
